About Us

Upstate is calling and you must go.

Fine + Feral Co. is founded on the ideal that adventures can happen anywhere. For founder, Jake Brown, his own backyard was the perfect place to start. Jake moved to the Hudson Valley in 2015 after spending as much as his Brooklyn rent on cars to escape the city, and has never looked back. The Valley and nearby Catskills provide incredible opportunities to hike, camp, paddle and fish; and the towns that dot the landscape offer the best of city refinement with country sensibility.

It's our goal to share what amazing adventures the area has to offer and equip you with the best gear we can find (or make). We believe in heritage, not hype, and are glad you're here with us!
